Review

The book The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien was a very good piece of literature. Tolkien had a very wild imagination and was able to create a complete new world called Shier. The details of Shier are very good and give the reader a good understanding of where the different places that Bilbo and the group go during their adventure. What his details don’t explain well enough, the map he put I the front of the book does. In Shier there are races of creatures that do not live on Earth and new languages. He goes in great detail in describing all these different types of beings. Tolkien put a lot of details in his work which helped the reader really understand what he meant for them to know. It was fun reading about the new world and all the unordinary creatures and their life styles. The book was very interesting and at times I couldn’t put it down because I had to know what would happen next. I really enjoyed the book and think it is a great piece of literature. The Hobbit is a very good book that I would suggest to anyone in or near their teens.
